Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 106 === This thesis aims to study the earthquake in Taiwan in Hualien on February 6,2018. According to the data of acceleration provided by the Central Weather Bureau that are integrated to obtain velocity and displacement. A base-line correction is used to revise the numerical error. After the baseline correction, we use a single degree of freedom system to simulate the seismic response spectra of each station, and then compare with the seismic design specification. Finally we discuss whether the seismic response spectral exceed the standard or not. The results show that the most collapsed of this three buildings are almost reached the critical value so we can image how powerful this earthquake it is, coupled with the poor construction quality of the beam-column joints and the weak layer of the structural system, which led to the occurrence of the disaster. Therefore, the impact of natural disasters is very huge.
