Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 科技管理所 === 106 === Recently due to the rapid development of the Internet, the platform economy has become a very powerful business model. Many types of platforms have shown up but few of them can keep alive. Faced with fierce industrial environment and rapid technological development nowadays. What qualities do these successful platforms have? Is there a rule that can be followed? These kinds of topics have not been analyzed yet. The purpose of this study is to use the psychological resources of users to compare the development process of three content-based internet platform companies, namely iFIT, iCook and iPeen. The research uses four aspects of the virtual community proposed by Zeng Shufen (1999) which is sense of participation, sense of belonging, sense of inclusiveness and sense of solidarity as the psychological resources of users. Then observes how organizations use the psychological resources of users to improve users’ quality, number of users, contents’ quality and contents’ quantity. Explore the relationship between psychological resource of users and the development of the companies to give a reference for future platforms. The sources of this case study are mainly sub-materials. The sub-materials are divided into the interviews of previous documents and the information of the websites of enterprises and newspapers and magazines. After the above information is sorted, summarized and analyzed relevant background and development information of individual enterprises. The study found that users' sense of participation, solidarity and sense of inclusiveness all have a positive effect on the number of users and the amount of content. The sense of belonging enhances the quality of users while the quality of the content can also be improved. Mechanism enhances users’ engagement and achieve content quality management. Although different types of content platforms have different development paths, the three cases are mostly based on the content first, then the number of users, and then the review of content and finally enhance the quality of users. Many platforms tend to focus on the hardware but ignore user's psychology. If there are strategies can assist platform to adjust the user's psychological experience, the result will be quite amazing. Once the platform business evokes the user's psychological experience, it will substantially increase its adhesion and bring more new users. Thus to create a stable growth and profitable content platform company.
