To improve the scanning speed and accuracy of the laser scanning system, the distortion of the driving signal due to the frequency response of the rotating mirror in the laser system needs to be resolved. In this paper, two methods are proposed, which can accomplish precision scanning graphics with minimized scanning time.
The first method, Inverse Fourier Signal Processing, improves the scanning precision. No matter how complex the target graphics is, this method finds a corresponding drive signal. The processed driving signal compensates distortion rasied by the limiting frequency response of the rotation mirror, and results in precision scanning graphics.
The second method, Scanning Point Re-distribution, rearrages the scanning points to suppress high frequency driving signal. Thus, we can use less scanning points, while maintain minial signal distortion caused by system’s physical limitation.
