With the novel concept—the combination of dynamic capabilities and entrepreneurial-orientation—unit-level “dynamic entrepreneurial capabilities” as an mediating variable, and firm-level company improvisation as a moderating variable. Unit performance includes overall performance of unit and unit business growth. The data collection method is questionnaire survey. Data collected from 30 companies and 60 units in Taiwan, including 60 top management team(TMT) ,120 managers and 240 employees. The results show that the dynamic entrepreneurial capabilities significantly mediates the relationship between social capital and unit performance. However, the moderating effect of the company improvisation on social capital to dynamic entrepreneurial capability is not significant. Surprisingly, the company improvisation is negatively and significantly moderates the relationship between dynamic entrepreneurial capability and unit performance.
