Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 圖文傳播藝術學系 === 106 === This study, based on creation of surrealistic images using image association and imagination, aimed to develop an art education board game capable of cultivating and stimulating creativity. The board game included cards with text topics and those with line images. A total of 60 cards with text topics were designed based on the Creativity theory, including fluency, openness, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and title production. A total of 14 cards with line images were designed using basic elements of creation (i.e., points, lines, and surfaces). Game mechanism and rules were developed through the literature synthesis on creative teaching methods. The board game was divided into the association mode and the imagination mode. The former mode required examinees to draw concrete images with a card of text topic and a card of line image. For the latter mode, two cards of text topics and a card of line image were provided for examinees to draw abstract images. Examinees in both modes had to draw as many images as possible within designated time. Action research was adopted to conduct experiment on senior high school students. While the experimental group experienced seven rounds of creativity training, the control group received original art curriculum guidelines. The results from the CAP—Test of Divergent Thinking revealed that the experimental group performed significantly better in the six indexes than the control group, suggesting the positive effect of the proposed board game on creativity training.
