Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 書畫系造形藝術碩士班 === 106 === The mixed media creation named “Exotic, Alienation, Disorder” is created to explore the writer’s mindset through three dimensions composed of space, psychology and behavior. As a foreigner, the writer dedicated to describing the experience and phenomenon happened when staying outside of hometown. From space dimension, the writer merged what she has seen and learned from daily city life of two different countries into the writer’s art work and seized the chance to search for more visual possibilities to combine with the writer’s artistic creation. Theoretically, the dissertation adopted the form and the usable material of eastern and western artistic creation as reference. The core value of the dissertation stemmed from what the writer felt regarding of extreme social actions, various mindsets and observable trends happened around the writer’s exotic life. The dissertation was divided into five chapters. The introduction began as the first chapter to illustrate the writer’s motivation, purpose and method toward the dissertation. The second chapter demonstrating the theory and references the writer quoted in the art works. The third chapter described what the writer has seen and felt toward the extreme social phenomenon and how the writer merged these experiences into the artistic creations. The fourth chapter was the design notion and the experimental process of “Exotic, Alienation, Disorder”, and could be classified into two series by creation materials. First series was called “From Exotic to Depression” which adopted the cyanotype method as the core design technique and the second series was called “From Emotion to Disorder” mostly composed of conceptual art works designed by multiple techniques and was shaped in the form of video, installation, photography and so on. The last chapter would organize the writer’s different mindsets, make conclusions of the dissertation and further inspect the difference between the ideal and the realistic concept of the art works and finally expressed the writer’s future expectations toward artistic creations.
