Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 美術學系 === 106 === The author practices long-term residence art projects, from 2012 to 2018, at Rui-Bin Elementary School in Rueifang District, New Taipei City. The author tries to communicate with the area, and her personal life experience is rich and brilliant with the process and experience. The thesis, through the transmission of memory, links the meaning and the value of local identity by the place and the memory in the category of humanistic geography. The author attempts to contrast and respond with her personal experience by arranging the collection and discussion on theoretical materials. In addition, this study adopts the Action Research method, to reflect on her project and the process of action. Finally, the author tries to review relationship between Rui-Bin and heryself by the her art works. The thesis is based on the conversation between creation and relevant texts. The goal of these research is to resume the affective bond between people and place. The art works of the author is based on the reciprocation of her Rui-Bin experience, and the practice of art, to further study the subjective visual imprints intervening on the meaning of place. The art works of the author use plaster and pastel as media to re-present coastline landscape in Rui-Bin, and refer to the combination of photographic images and fabric to present the scenes ambivalent between a reality and fancy. The author chooses to look at things from a downward perspective and to gain a measure of permanence by thoughtful reflection. The Rui-Bin experience and memory overlap and are embedded in artworks. The author links the meaning and value of memory in painting through art works, and engenders memory of the place, in order to show how they mutually contribute to the formation of values.
