In addition to surface texture, the temper which allows materials to display the form of three-dimensional surface is one of the important characteristics as well. Thus, this study sets temper performance of leather as the research direction, concluding methods of “bending” and “crimping” for forms of leather through case analysis. Further coordinated with axial directional operation, this study develops temper prototypes of “composite bending”, “bending with crimping”, and “composite crimping” etc. to shape the form changes of three-dimensional surface of leather. Finally, consideration for function is added, and it will be verified by designing experiment. 9 works that possess function of storage, shadow changing effects, load bearing, and thermal insulation will be completed. Compared with literal cases, the form and effects of these works possess more layers. In the end, the results of the comprehensive study conclude: (1) for “visual and functional comprehensive performance”, leather mainly shapes the form of three-dimensional surface through characteristics of temper; (2) double methods and combining operation of different axial directions can make leather generate the form of three-dimensional surface through characteristics of temper; (3) the function of leather is highly connected with the spatial depth generated by form changing.
