For intercrop farming purpose, vanilla is preferred among others plants due to its high capacity of adaptation without affecting other crops nutrients. This study will contribute to explore the possibility of producing organic vanilla in Dominican Republic. A cost-benefit analysis has conduct based on current production information on benchmark country Mexico. The ratio of net income to total cost is 12.49%, along with the ratio of total income to total cost is 13.49%. These figures show positive results that stand as proof of the feasibility of this project. A SWOT analysis includes details about the strengths of this project, the results are performed as prove of feasibility. Organic gourmet markets are the target audience due that the price prime guaranty profit for a sustainable development. The main strategy about production and commercialization for organic vanilla produced is to work directly with CONACADO, cocoa grower’s cooperatives.
