The second chapter discussed the history and social-political background of the Choson interpreters. The third chapter analyzed the background and meaning of the publish of Lee Sangjeok’s Eunsongdangjip(恩誦堂集) in Peking. The fourth chapter focused on the value of the Eunsongdangjip, compares with the texts of Yeonhaengrok(燕行錄), which written by Lee Sangjeok’s colleagues during their visit of Peking. The comparison of these texts shows that the Yeonhaengrok writers often hid or minimized interpreters and their achievements. The fifth chapter, takes Lee Sangjeok and Zhang yaosun(張曜孫) as example, pointed out the features of the companionship between Choson and Qing dynasty intellectuals in 19th century. The sixth chapter analyzed the Naksunjae Translation of The Dream of Red Chamber(樂善齋本紅樓夢), which known as the world''s first complete translation of the Qing novel The dream of Red Chamber, translated by a group of the Choson translators. In conclusion, this paper attempts to reveal the contribution of the Choson interpreters in the 19th century East-Asian history. With those features that this paper analyzed, I argue that the Choson interpreters were played the lead role in the field of 19th century East-Asian history. 歐麗娟 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 186 zh-TW
