Abstract
The purpose of this study aims to explore the current status of preschool educators’ teacher-parent communication and teaching effectiveness, understand of the differences of preschool educators with different backgrounds Teacher-Parent communication and teaching effectiveness, analysis the correlation of preschool educators’ Teacher-Parent communication and teaching effectiveness, and discuss the effects of preschool educators’ Teacher-Parent communication and teaching effectiveness in Taitung County.
The samples of the genersl census consisted of 382 pre-school educators from all public and private kindergartens in Taitung County in 2016. The data were analyzed through SPSS for T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, Regression and Canonical correlation.
The major findings of this study as followed:
1. The current status of preschool educators’ teacher-parent communication and teaching effectiveness in Taitung County is very good.
2. There were significant differences of preschool educators’ teacher-parent communication with different age, teaching experience, marriage status in Taitung County.
3. There was a significant difference of preschool educators’ teaching effectiveness with different age, teaching experience, marriage status in Taitung County.
4. There was a significant positive relationship between preschool educator’s teacher-parent communication and teaching effectiveness in Taitung County.
5. Total scale of preschool educator’s teacher-parent communication could predict total scale of teaching effectiveness.
