Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 幼兒與家庭教育學系碩士班 === 106 === The subject of this thesis was about how children’s emotional experiences manifest in children’s picture diary. Through studying picture diary, I would like to observe how children identify, understand, express and then adjust their emotion. Furthermore, the feedback and the improvement of teaching skills that teachers obtained from children’s picture diary will be discussed in the following chapters. In order to figure out those emotional experience children express in picture diary, I adopt quality approach in my thesis statement. The resources of the research included the collection of children’s picture diary and interviews. By way of doing research on these data, I would find out children’s emotional experience in picture diary. And the research result of my thesis would be narrated in the following paragraph.
First of all, the emotional experience scenario recorded by children in picture diary include family life, school life and his own imaginary world. Through getting along with parents, grandparents, peers, teachers and himself, children finally draw about his or her positive or negative emotions. According to the emotional experience recorded by children in picture diary, it revealed that children were capable of identifying and understanding his and others’ emotion. Finally, children learned to express and adjust his emotion.
Picture dairy explicitly showed the life of children. By talking about the picture diary with children, teachers understood children’s drawing, talking and emotional experience.
