Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 教育研究所 === 106 === This research aims to explore ‘resilience’, ‘self-compassion’ and their relationships on the physical education program students in Keeling city. The questionnaire method has been conducted, and based on stratified sampling, there are 524 students within 8 schools involved in this research. The main findings are as follows:
1. The score of ‘resilience’ is higher than median and the dimensions from high to low are ‘personal ability’, ‘beliefs’, ‘instinct’ and ‘positive attitude’. The male is significantly higher than the female on ‘resilience’, ‘instinct’, ‘beliefs’ and ‘positive attitude’, furthermore, the ‘self-evaluated high exercise performance group’ is significantly higher than the ‘low performance group’ on ‘resilience’, ‘personal ability’, ‘beliefs’, ‘instinct’ and ‘positive attitude’.
2. The total score of ‘self-compassion’ is higher than median and the dimensions from
high to low are ‘mindfulness’, ‘self-kindness’, ‘common humanity’, ‘self-judgment’, ‘isolation’ and ‘over-identification’. The male is significantly higher than the female on ‘self-compassion’, ‘self-kindness’, ‘mindfulness’ and ‘over-identification’, furthermore, the ‘self-evaluated high exercise performance group’ is significantly higher than the ‘low performance group’ on ‘mindfulness’, ‘self-kindness’, ‘common humanity’.
3. ‘Self-compassion’ and ‘resilience’ show high significantly positive correlations, and ‘self-evaluated sexercise performance’ shows show high significantly positive correlations with ‘Self-compassion’ and ‘resilience’.
4. Based on the stepwise regression, ‘resilience’ has been influenced by ‘mindfulness’ and ‘self-kindness’ positively, furthermore, ‘self-evaluated exercise performance’ has been influenced by ‘instinct’ and ‘self-kindness’ positively
5. based on the canonical correlation analysis, the ‘mindfulness’ and ‘self-kindness’ have high influence on ‘personal ability’, ‘beliefs’, ‘instinct’ and ‘positive attitude’ from the first pair of canonical variablesχ1 (ρ=.69).
Hence, enhancing ‘mindfulness’ and ‘self-kindness’ can promote the level of resilience, and furthermore, cultivating the ‘instinct’ of resilience and ‘self-kindness’ of self-compassion can promote students’ exercise performance.
