Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 航運管理學系 === 106 === Since the quality and information of transported cargo are gradually emphasized by manufacturers, logistics providers and customers, the constraints of radio frequency identification (RFID) development in monitoring the real situation of cargo are observed. Under the framework of internet of thing (IoT), this study explores the relationship between perceived value and intention to adopting real cargo information tracking technology (RCITT) by Taiwanese companies in the manufacturing, logistics and distribution sectors. Based on data collected via e-mail and paper submission survey, 187 valid responses were received. Analytic results generated by SEM revealed that legitimacy, responsiveness and visibility positively significant influence perceived value. However, ease of use did not positively significant influence perceived value. Finally, perceived value positively significant influence intention. Managerial implications and directions of future research are provided.
