This study is a multiple baseline across-subjects designs and can be divided into three phases: baseline, intervention, and maintenance. Participants were three students from the elementary school students with intellectual disabilities. They received 24 intervention sessions of 40-min duration, including single skipping activities, divided into five units. Data will be collected after each session and data analysis by visual analysis and Tryon’s C statistics. The results of this study can be summarized as the following:
First, interesting rope skipping activity is effective for the balance ability of the students with intellectual disabilities.
1. Interesting rope skipping activity has an immediate and maintenance effect on the static balance ability of the students with intellectual disabilities.
2. Interesting rope skipping activity has improved the dynamic balance ability of the students with intellectual disabilities and has a maintenance effect.
Second, interesting rope skipping activity is effective in improving the physical fitness of students with intellectual disabilities.
1. Interesting rope skipping activity improves the body composition of the students with intellectual disabilities.
2. Interesting rope skipping activity has an immediate and maintenance effect on the cardiorespiratory endurance of the students with intellectual disabilities.
3. Interesting rope skipping activity has immediate and maintenance effects on the muscle strength and endurance of the students with intellectual disabilities.
4. Interesting rope skipping activity has an immediate and maintenance effect on the flexibility of the students with intellectual disabilities.
