Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 音樂學系 === 106 === The thesis focuses on a study of “Sextet”, a chamber music work by Polish contemporary composer Kryzstof Penderecki. Through analysis of this piece, I would reveal the characteristics of Penderecki’s musical language and try to show how the study reflects on my own composition. Penderecki 's musical style has changed a lot. Penderecki was fond of developing the possibility of sonority in his early and mid-term works. In his late works, his musics are no longer the pursuit of shocking performances of various musical performances, but use a large number of traditional music materials, and his works can simultaneously take into account the characteristics between tradition and modernity. By reviewing Penderecki’s works in each period, Examining his musical language concepts and idiomatic composing techniques. Then explore the music connotation of the “Sextet”, and the research will be applied as concepts to my works.
