Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 公民教育與活動領導學系 === 106 === The purpose of this study is to describe the operations of Boy Scouts in Yilan County. The questionnaire survey and interviews with the influence factors like the historical background, human resources, troop managements and accomplishments of activities and training are to realize the actual operations.
In this study, summarizing the questionnaire survey and interviews were used to analysis the correlations with the results. In the first part, it’s done on the basis of a self-made survey entitled as “Questionnaire Survey on the Performance of Scout Troops Supported by Yilan Junior High Shool”. The sample scout troops from Yilan junior high schools that had accomplished three kinds of registration in semester of 2017 academic year. There are12 questionnaires in total were distributed. The rate of recovery are100% & the rate of efficient are 85%. The results were analyzed to gather the statistics in two way based on the survey methods: (a) closed questionnaires were collected by statistically analyzed via EXCEL software; (b) open ended questions were collected by listing all answers and deleting repeated answer, then shows the following data in real.
According to the literatures & this research, we get the conclusion as followed:
I.The situations of human resources in junior high school scout troops:
1.Troop committee functions insufficiently and needs to be improved. Meeting holding is uncertainly.
2.Good quality of scout masters, and they all serve as scout masters in voluntary.
3.Shortage of human resources in service & difficult to recruitment. Most of resources are from other troops and graduates.
II.The situations of affairs administration in junior high school scouts troops:
1.The relative between this research and literatures was consistent.
2.The situations of recruitment have great difference in different troops.
III.The situations of scout activities and trainings:
1.Over 60% scouts have regular troops meeting, outdoor activities, and ceremonial activities.
2.High willingness to participate in activities of County and country.
IV.The factors effect on the operations of scout troops in junior high school:
1.The most effective factor of all factors is the human resources.
2.Material and financial resources are the second one of the most effective factors.
3.Education trainings and leading efficacy are mainly affected by the business philosophy of the headmaster.
4.The ratio of effective assistance is more in county scout troops than country scout troops.
In summary, this dissertation was conducted by the research and raised concrete suggestions for scout masters, school administrations, related education administrations, and following researchers. Hope this research could be helpful for scout activity promotion and popularization.
