A Study on the Factories' Competitiveness in Industrial Area - A Case of Metal Products Manufacturing Industry

碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to explore the factors that affected the competitiveness of industrial area manufacturers. The results would be provided to manufacturers of metal products as a means to enhance their competitiveness. Prior to the formal distribution of the questionnaire, the experts were invited to review the content of the questionnaire. In this study, 355 questionnaires were sent and 189 valid questionnaires were recovered. Internal consistency reliability and construct validity were adopted. Statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, single sample test, multiple stepwise regression, and logistic regression were used. The results of the study showed that the competitiveness of the metal product manufacturing factories was weak; participation in industry-university cooperation, financing to banks, manufacturers located in Ruifang industrial area and sole proprietorship manufacturers are predictive of manufacturing capacity; R&D departments and industry-university cooperation are predictive of management capability; R&D departments, cooperation with other manufacturers to research and develop, financing to banks, obtained government funding subsidies, and manufacturers in Dawulun industrial area are predictive of R&D capability; R&D department, cooperation with other manufacturers to research and develop, and manufacturers with joint ventures are predictive of marketing capabilities; R&D departments, sole proprietorship manufacturers, and small enterprises are predictive of industry-university cooperative research project.
