Besides, it also analyzed the differences and correlations among subjective well-being, psychological capital, and life adjustment in the student background variables (gender, grades, and departments). This study adopted questionnaire survey. The subjects were 236 Tainan junior college students sampled by purposive method. The data were collected from the survey titled“Subjective Well-Being Scale”, “Psychological Capital Scale” and“Life Adjustment Scale”. The study was processed in October 2017 and one junior college in southern Taiwan was involved. The data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 for descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. The current situation of junior college students’ subjective well-being, psychological capital, and life adjustment are over the medium level. 2. There were significant differences in the variables of departments on junior college students’ subjective well-being. 3. There were significant differences in the variables of gender and departments on junior college students’ psychological capital. 4. There were significant differences in the variables of gender on junior college students’ life adjustment. 5. The junior college students’ subjective well-being, psychological capital, and life adjustment were correlated positively. 6. The junior college students’ subjective well-being and psychological capital were significantly positive predictors of the life adjustment. Based on the conclusions, suggestions were made for the authorities concerned, schools, families, teachers and future research.
