Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 行政管理學系碩士班 === 107 === In this study, using cross-level analysis to explore the service leadership team level, the impact of collective efficacy to the individual level of psychological empowerment and public service motivation, and test team-level collective efficacy and individual-level across level of psychological empowerment mediating effect. A total of 1000 questionnaires are distributed among the 84 fire brigade, and 802 valid questionnaires are returned. Through the cross-level analysis, the major findings of this study are summarized as follows: Service leadership has the significant and positive impact on public service motivation, psychological empowerment and collective efficacy. Psychological empowerment has the significant and positive impact on public service motivation. Collective efficacy has the significant and positive impact on public service motivation. The relationship between service leadership and public service motivation is completely mediated by psychological empowerment. The relationship between service leadership and public service motivation is completely mediated by collective efficacy. Finally, proposing suggestion for future research, as well as pragmatic way for fire department. I expect to make up for the deficiency on theoretical part of leadership in the past, and build a bridge through empirical findings between theory and practice.
