Advisor: Dr. Cheng, I-Shiung Abstract Objective: To explore a better way to predict the development of the future footwork of badminton players, so as to be an indicator to select in selection elit Athletes. Method: Was Used Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (PPMCC, significant level is .05) to analyze the "badminton specific explosive power" (the tests of running around the four corners for one or two rounds) and the "ordinary explosive power" (the tests of vertical jump, standing long jump, 30-meter sprint, etc.) of the junior badminton beginners (lower and middle grades players just entering the school team; the “Beginners Group” ) and the trainees with 3 to 4 year experiences (upper grade players in the school badminton team; the “Trained Group” ) before and after the interval training of Six-Point Footwork for 12 weeks in order to understand whether there are positive correlations between the test performances of "badminton specific explosive power" and "ordinary explosive power" under (1) before training, (2) after training, and (3) before - after training. Results: There were all significant positive correlations in the performances of the Beginners Group before training, after training, and before - after the training. But there was no any significant positive correlation in the performances of the Trained Group. Conclusion: We suggests that the ordinary explosive power tests such as vertical jump, standing long jump, and 30-meter sprint, etc. cannot be an indicator of predicting the future footwork development of four-corner running for badminton beginners, and thus cannot be used in selection of players. Key words: vertical jump, 30-meter sprint, badminton specific explosive power, four-corner running LU, HSANG-CHU CHENG, I-SHIUNG 呂香珠 程一雄 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 47 zh-TW
