Through her self narration and reflection on these experiences to explore the content of practical knowledge of teaching on swimming.She was a student specialised in swimming and gradually gained the major knowledge and skills in her schooling and teaching phases ; starting from teaching on swimming in fun ways, she built the practical knowledge of Wet Game from her critical experiences. The dissertation is to make a female swimming teacher’s career development understood. She incoporated information and wet games into swimming and self help courses in compliance with Swimming and Self Help Capability Indicators for National Elementary School and High School Students. Through safe and highly efficient group teaching,each and every aspect of class management, and how the teacher and students get along, she arranged and developed 10 kinds wet games and self help courses as introduced in the texts, various teaching materials such as applications of universal swimming teaching aids, body movements in water, water sports competitions, primary games and high intermediate games, fancy diving from poolside or springboard, which all reflect her priciples of teaching “fun”, “adaptation”, “differentiation”and ”individualization”so to take the students’ body and mind development as well as the learning strategies into account, in hope to assist the students to meet the swimming criteria and attain the development of such an important national physical education course. With the study and results, the researcher aims to offer references and applications to all teaching practioners from the practical perspectives of teaching on swimming so to evoke resonance,create communications and conversations, as well as contemplation, to enrich one and another’s teaching perspectives and enhance the overall expertise and growth.
