Nursing assistants are always the first line workers of long-term care system. Because of this, the demand for nursing assistants is growing at a fast pace. Job safety analysis is widely applied in projects of large-scale construction and foreign-owned management consulting firms to 1) protect the assets and health of both employees and employers’ , 2) lower the risk during work and 3) avoid heavy casualties and property losses. The innovative idea of this technical report is aiming at applying job safety analysis in long-term care facilities to provide a better and more proper protection to the related workers. Musculoskeletal Disorders is one of the common occupational disease which is mostly caused by improper posture or heavy lifting. To ensure work safety of long-term care , enhancing working willingness and also improving awareness of occupational health and safety could be done by applying job safety analysis in long-term care facilities. To do so, it can lower the probabilities and frequencies of occupational hazards, decrease Musculoskeletal Disorders, and protect workers’ rights and health.
