Researcher used qualitative methods such observation, recording, interview to collect the data. In addition, the researcher also used triangulation method to analyze the results from multiple perspectives. 1. The child’s adaptation and learning processes can be divided into three stages. (1)The early stage: this child who was new to the environment tended to have negative emotions. (2) The middle stage: this child could slowly adjust to the new environment. As the result, he greatly improved on his language skills and got motivated to learn. He started to develop good relationship with peers. However, his limited vocabulary range resulted in reading difficulties. (3) The last stage: His comprehension and communication had improved. In addition, he started building harmonious relationship with friends and teachers. Although it is more often for him to share in a group discussion, he tended to get distracted in classes and lower his learning motivation. 2. Through the framework of the ecological systems theory to explore the individual case how to learn adaptation and interaction with others in kindergarten. It is found that important factors of influence the adaptation of individual learning include learning motivation, communication and interaction with teachers and classmates, as well as good interaction between his parents and teachers. 3. The teachers: provide comfort, make him feel involved, cultivate interest, encourage good behaviors, create good relationship among peers, and work together with the parents. Key words: the children of immigrant mother, learning adaptability, peer relationship
