碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 音樂學系碩士班 === 106 === The study aims to explore the instrument tourism factories in Taiwan, particularly focuses on CarolBrass Tourism Factory, Chiayi. Through the fieldwork and data collection, the thesis presents the development and arrangement of the instrument tourism factory, as well as the guiding tour and DIY activity. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the function of CarolBrass Tourism Factory about its social music education. CarolBrass Tourism Factory belongs to Hoxon Gakki Corp.（1989）, which produces many kinds of brass instruments. CarolBrass Tourism Factory （2015）is the center to promote the brass music culture and proclaims its industrial responsibility. The basic content of the thesis is divided as follows: Chapter One describes the study’s motivation, objective, method, scope, and structure. Chapter Two generalizes the tourism factory in Taiwan. Chapter Three introduces the planning and the installations of CarolBrass Tourism Factory. Chapter Four details the guiding tour. Chapter Five analyzes what the visitors can get from CarolBrass Tourism Factory. Chapter Six summarizes the findings of the research.
