| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 休閒運動管理研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this study is to explore the results of the first and second cycle of these recreation related departments and institutes’ evaluation reports which evaluated by The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan. The researcher refers to related literature to design classification of indicators as the research tool and uses the content analysis as the research method to examine the results of these evaluation reports. This project contains the first cycle’s 25 and the second cycle’s 26 reports with 2469 coded items. The result of this research project shows 1. The background items has ameliorated by achieving the educational goal, the enrollment plan and the freshmen counselling. 2. The curriculum planning has improved by the teamwork of the curriculum council, and it also advances the teachers’ assessment, the diversified teaching methods, the syllabus posting and the multivariant achievement tests. 3. In terms of departments and institutes’ resources, the reports show the insufficient teaching and research resources. 4. From the staff point of view, the problems are inadequate student/teacher rate, teachers’ professions incompatible with their classes, high teaching load and lack of research published. However, the benefit is that the mentors can consult the students attentively. 5. For the students, these programs can help them to achieve the curriculum goals. However, the schools need to do better at improving students’ professions, helping them with cross-disciplinary studies, refining their practical skills for them to get the licenses. 6. For the graduates, it is good at establishing the threshold of graduation to ensure that graduates can achieve educational goals and owning perfect tracing investigation system. 7. In the area of self-improvement, these recreation related departments and institutes can formulate and implement improvement measures for development plans or evaluations. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the development of the recreation related departments and institutes in Taiwan and for the education authority in evaluating
