Background: The relationship between participation in leisure activities and perceived well-being among older adultss with sarcopenia and multimorbidity was very limited. Methods: This study describes the correlation between mining designs, transection (cross-sectional) Structure of the way. A structured questionnaire is used to collect case data within the northern part of the geriatric medicine of a medical center. It also includes a basic personal information table, (The Leisure Time Physical Activity, LTPA) and the well-being scale (0-10 Scale). The number of sample cases recorded in 66. Statistical analysis methods, such as descriptive analyses (mean and standard deviation), independent sample t-test, single factor analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis, were performed. Results: The results of this study shows age, occupation, exercise habits, weekly exercise frequency, and duration of each exercise were found to be significantly correlated with overall participation in leisure activities for elderly patients with sarcopenia. Educational background, occupation, living conditions, and duration of each exercise were found to be significantly correlated with the perceived well-being of elderly patients with sarcopenia. Various demographic variables had significant correlation with each dimension of leisure activities. The demographic variables and overall participation in leisure activities were found to be significantly correlated with well-being. Furthermore, activities that involved social activities were determined to be an effective predictor of well-being. Conclusions: The leisure activities and well-being of older adults with sarcopenia and multimorbidity are significantly correlated. Patients that participate more frequently in leisure activities tend to have a greater perceived well-being. Particularly, participation in social activities is likely to generate strong feelings of well-being. Hence, encouraging such patients to participate in leisure activities to the enhancement of their overall perceived well-being. TUNG, HENG-HSIN 童恒新 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 103 zh-TW
