Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 教育研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this research was to investigate the views from teacher-students and junior high school teachers on teacher’s education profession competency, and the usefulness of teacher education in college. The method was survey research. Data were collected from 206 teachers, and 191 teacher-students from two different teacher cultivation systems. Data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA. Main findings were summed as follows: 1. Teachers and teacher-students perceptions on teacher’s education profession competency, and the curriculum for helping level were significantly difference on gender, status, subjects, teacher cultivation systems and administrative experience. 2. The teacher’s education class have difference on status; but there is no difference on two kinds of teacher cultivation systems. In addition, the study results of the analysis and conclusions, this research also proposed suggestions for education authorities, center for teacher education and future researchers.
