Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 獸醫學系所 === 106 === This study is to compare the effects of sterilization of surface of duck eggs with formaldehyde、chlorine dioxide、2.2% ozone、4.4% ozone、Quats、Hi-ClO、2 ppm Ag+、20 ppm Ag+, respectively, and to compare whether different sterilization methods cause a difference in the growth of the duck embryo and also whether different temperature and humidity affect the duck eggs. The experiments were counted separately as 0 days old, after 7 days , after 14 days , and after 28 days when the eggshells were opened up to analyse. The 28-day-old ducks’ embryo were observed. Anatomical confirmation of egg contents and internal organs are observed with the naked eye. The yolk liquid was tested to ascertain the level of E.coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Poultry Mycoplasmosis, Salmonella, Streptomyces, Goose parvovirus, Riemerella anatipestifer as well as to explore how the disinfection conditions caused changes in the impact of bactericidal results. The results showed that 37% of pre-incubated eggs were infected with E.coli, 20% infected with Salmonella ; The eggs incubated for 7-days were found to be 2% infected with E.coli, 35% infected Salmonella, 4% infected Riemerella anatipestifer, 9% infected Staphylococcus aureus,16% infected Streptomyces; The eggs incubated for 14-day were found to be 24% infected with E.coli , 28% infected Salmonella, 14% infected Riemerella anatipestifer,10% infected Mycoplasma iowae; The egg incubated for 28-day yolk were found to be 18% infected E.coli, 33% infected Salmonella ,3% infected with Riemerella anatipestifer and 5% infected with Staphylococcus aureus,8% infected Streptomyces,1% infected Mycoplasma meleagridis. The above results showed that the infection impact was largest for Salmonella infection followed by E.coli. 25% of the 28-day-old duck egg without any disinfection of the egg surface has a long mold phenomenon. The results showed 25% of eggs disinfected with chlorine dioxide also has a long mold phenomenon. For the use of formaldehyde disinfection, one of the eggs exhibit a serious mould mycelium; two eggs showed liver of a lighter colour and an elongated heart. Eggs with ozone disinfection were observed with one third of the body seriously stained with viscous liquid, one sixth of the body grow with mould. Two hearts were found to be larger than normal. After compare the humidity, we find that the later one’s rainfall is higher than the previous one, and we can see that the egg grow more mold inside. Hence, if the timing of the egg put in to the hatching machine is rainy season, it would influence the ducks lay environment. Furthermore, it will also affect the mold growth inside the egg.
