| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 視覺藝術學系碩士班 === 106 === Based on the life experiences, feelings and the state of mind of the author, this thesis is to discuss the different meaning of "flower" between the daytime and nighttime and its transference meaning from the perspectives of aesthetics, philosophy and psychology point of view. Moreover, this thesis also discusses how the author creates the artwork by combining the characteristics of ink painting and encaustic.
Therefore, in this thesis will first discuss the motivation, purpose and methods of this research, and after that, in order to elaborate the basic writing direction of this research, the scope, framework and nouns paraphrases will also be discussed in this thesis. Then, through the review of relevant and available literature of art, the author leads the audiences to explore the meaning of life, flowers and the daytime and nighttime. Furthermore, by exploring the origin of life of all living things on earth, the author cites the philosophical meaning between flowers and daytime and nighttime. The author not only combines the experience of artwork creations of predecessors but also the analysis of the art thematic as a source of follow-up ideas of artwork creations. In addition, the author will make a brief summary of the fusions of ink painting culture and encaustic, and apply the research findings to follow-up artworks in the hope of deepening the author’s power of creation.
Finally, according to the experience of creation of the author, the flower of daytime and nighttime becomes the main painting object of the author in this thesis and even further projection of the author's life thinking. The artworks are divided into two series of creation: first, the flower of daytime expresses the state of life during the daytime; second, the flower of nighttime shows the difference from the feeling of life during the daytime. And last, but not least, by analyzing and discussing the creation of artworks, the author hopes to figure out the strengths and weaknesses in order to deepening the author’s power of creation power in the coming future.
