Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 社會發展學系碩士班 === 106 ===   The purpose of this study is to understand the status of teachers’ work values and professional commitment in Pingtung elementary schools, compare the differences of teachers’ work values and professional commitment with different background variables, and explore the related situations as well as teachers’ work values and professional commitment.   The research took teachers in the elementary schools of Pingtung County in 2017 as subjects. The research used self-made “questionnaires of teachers’ work values and professional commitment” as research tool to take samples from 28 schools by stratified cluster sampling. There were 492 effective questionnaires returned. Finally, all the received data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis etc.. The conclusions are as follows: 1. The status of teachers’ work values in elementary schools are positive. The performance of “Self-growth” is the best. 2. The status of professional commitment for elementary school teachers has a high sense of commitment. The performance of “Profession Identification” is the best. 3. The main factors affecting work vales for elementary school teachers in Pingtung County are“Education ideal”and“Interest ambition”. 4. The main factors affecting professional commitment for elementary school teachers in Pingtung County are“Salary benefits”,“School Climate”and “Campus Environment”. 5. The work values of subject teachers and teachers teaching in remote elementary schools are more positive. 6. The subject teachers and teachers teaching in remote elementary schools are more devoted to professional commitment. 7. The more work values the elementary school teachers in Pingtung County are aware of the more professional commitment they will have. Especially the relation between “achievement reputation” and professional commitment is the most correlated. 8. Elementary schools teachers’ work values have a good prediction in their professional commitment. “Achievement reputation” especially is the best effect in the “retention tendencies”.   Based on the above conclusions, the researcher prondes some specific suggestions to the educational authorities, elementary schools, teachers and future researchers for references.
