碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 視覺設計學系 === 106 === FamilyMart launched series of Hao-Shen Figurines in 2007. And it effect a lot of Taiwanese deities figurines for a long time. Although different series of deities figurines are made by different designer, the appearances of figurines between the same gods are similar. One critical reason why such a phenomenon exists is that the appearances of the prototypes are very similar. Through observing the statues of gods, we may be very difficult to distinguish which god is its original shape, except for a few gods with obvious characteristics. In order to improve the similar appearances of Taiwanese Deities Figurines, we must redesign it. Firstly we analysis, organize and summarize data which have description about the Gods. Secondly, the appearances of figurines be redesigned according to description of Gods. In addition, the figurines are added functional design. This functional design of figurines make Taiwanese deities figurines to be not only decorations, but also used for religious rites. People can understand traditional culture by using accessories of figurines to reappear religious rites. The change also makes Taiwanese Deities Figurines more different from previous examples. Finally, new appearances of Taiwanese Deities Figurines are showed by design drawings. Consequently, the result is strengthening uniqueness of figurines and enabling function to practice religious rites. The result also made Taiwanese Deities Figurines to be entertaining and educational.
