The research object is Kaohsiung City full-time and part-time counseling teachers. The questionnaire tools used in this study include “ counseling teachers’ almost perfect revised scale”, “counseling teachers' job stress scale” and “junior high school teacher's well-being scale”. The study adopted the questionnaire survey and 268 questionnaires are distributed and a total of 155 valid are collected. The effective response rate is 57.8%. The survey data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, chi-square test, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression methods. The finds of the study were summarized as follows: 1. Junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City on average showed a middle level of perfectionism, a middle-low level of job stress, a middle-high level of well-being 2. The junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City with different sex showed the significant differences on job stress and well-being. 3. The junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City with different age showed the significant differences on perfectionism, job stress and well-being. 4. The junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City with different job title showed the significant differences on job stress. 5. The junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City with different types of perfectionism showed significant differences on job stress and well-being. 6. There were significant negative correlation between job stress and well-being among junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City. 7. The background variables, perfectionism and job stress of junior high school counseling teachers in Kaohsiung City can predict well-being. In the end, based on the findings, the researchers made specific recommendations for educational administrators, junior high school counseling teachers and future studies as a reference.
