Under the fast development of technology, the dependence of economy on knowledge has increased by degrees in recent years. Therefore, knowledge is regard as one of competitive advantages in the business. Big data was also seen as a unique resource in the organizations and it will help businesses to obtain the abilities of decision making and value creating. The combination of knowledge management and big data will become a vital trend in the future.
In this study, we use knowledge management and the application of big data to be the study topic. First, we obtain related information from previous studies. Next, use interview as the research methodology and choose a consultant in the certain business with rich experience in the area of knowledge management to be our research target. The result shows that the business put knowledge management as an internal strategy and construct the concept of big data continuously.
After highly developed in machine learning and deep learning, knowledge might be redefined in the future. There are several limitations that made this study not perfect enough and will be shown in the last part, also some recommendations to future studies.
