Investigation on teachers' professional development is always an important issue in our country. This study employs the "collaborative action research" and "quantitative analysis" methods to investigate the preofessional development of a third/fouth grade individual teacher, integrates environmental education issues into learning courses.
The Information gathered include the formal and informal interviews before and after class lessons, video and audiorecordings of class lessons, and the teacher's reflection.
The modified research method is based on action chart, developed by professional learning and development.This study concludes:
1. Individual teacher can benefit from the application of collaborative model.
2. Individual teacher's practical knowedge and professional can be enhanced by designing couses, teaching, and reflection.
3. Collaborative action research can assist the professional development of individual teacher.
