Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 電機工程研究所碩士在職專班 === 106 === This study is aiming to investigate the tension in a thin wire high speed winding system with square-shaped bobbin and try to improve it. Large tension may cause the wire broken and the winding process be failed and stopped. Too low tension may cause the wire cross coupled and make the product unqualified. For the investigation, the dynamic model for the winding system with round-shaped bobbin was firstly built and simulated to examine the correctness of the model by comparing the simulation results with the real system behavior. Then, the round-shaped bobbin was replaced by square-shaped bobbin with all other parts of the model unchanged. Through the simulation of this square-shaped bobbin model, we can see that the line speed of the wire when winding up the bobbin is periodically changed with high frequency of four times of the bobbin rotation frequency and large variation of more than 40%. It is this line speed variation that causes the tension of the thin wire have large and high frequency variation. To improve it, the approach proposed is to change the speed of the bobbin rotating motor with opposite phase to the line speed variation such that the line speed variation as well as the wire tension variation can be significantly reduced. However, the bobbin rotating motor must be very powerful and very high frequency response.
