A Study on Service Quality of Navy Base Training and Education

碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 航運管理研究所 === 106 === The purpose of the study focuses on service quality of the training in Naval(amphibious corps)Base as main range. Through IPA and importance of which provide the dimension of service quality, importance of training and satisfaction. Based on the research results, which could formulate service quality to improve the strategies as a reference for education, training and planning for the future. It was found the analysis of curriculum planning and live facilities in the Naval Base. Before training in the Naval Base, and all the students must know the process of training through the counseling conference. To survey the training course is held in every Feb. and Sep. Whether the curriculum planning in eight weeks(320hrs)for students is sufficient or not. The students express their agreement that account for up to 92%. However, which are more useful for students among the subjects. Floating training at sea is accounts for up to 27.9%,life on board and emergency escape training is accounts for up to 13.5%,and wet web training is accounts for up to 7.7%.On the other hand, which are the facilities that need to be improved. Thus, they discovered that bathroom facility is accounts for up to 17.7%,leisure facility is accounts for up to 16.4% ,and parking lot is accounts for up to 15.8%.Through the results that IPA shows that they discovered there are 5 projects located at maintain achievement area in first quadrant of service quality of education training,5 projects located at high priority area in second quadrant in second quadrant,4 projects located at low priority area in third quadrant and 11 projects located at excessive area in fourth quadrant. Among all, those 5 projects which located at high priority area in second quadrant are “It is convenient to traffic accessibility and parking in Naval Base.”“ It is convenient to access in the military port when off duty and return to work”“There are should have comfortable resting space”“It need to has plenty of bath and toilet facilities” “The ship should have ample supplies such as mattresses, pillows, quilts, drinking water, etc. “This indicates that students feel are important for this part but have low Performance and cannot meet the needs of the students require "immediate improvement." We found out that the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) from importance of ANOVA of position shows that there are 1 item had statistically significant differences in part of job, and18 item in authority unit had statistically significant differences. ANOVA of degree of performance shows that 3 item in part of age had statistically significant differences, and there are 2 item in part of position had statistically significant differences. Also, 17 item in authority unit had statistically significant differences.
