The eighth grade of junior high school students’ English electronic textbooks software of Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group is used as teaching material. A pre-experimental design was adopted with students of eighth-graders in Tainan City. The traditional way of teaching was used before the first exam, and the E-textbook teaching was integrated before the second exam. The results of the first exam were regarded as pretest, and the results of the second exam was regarded as posttest. The effects of electronic textbooks integrated into English teaching on eighth grade of junior high school students’ learning achievement is whether or not obvious are discussed in this study. A questionnaire was sent to students later to gain a better insight regarding applying E-textbook in teaching English. The main findings of this study are summarized as the following: 1. The results of pretest and posttest showed no significant differences. 2. The results of pretest and posttest among male students showed no significant differences. 3. The results of pretest and posttest among female students showed no significant differences. 4. The results of pretest and posttest among high-achieved students showed significant differences. 5. The results of pretest and posttest among low-achieved students showed no significant differences. 6. The results of pretest and posttest in listening, speaking, reading, and writing showed no significant differences. 7. The results about easy questions of pretest and posttest showed significant differences; however, the results about medium and difficult questions of pretest and posttest showed no significant differences. 8. The attitude between male and female students toward E-textbook teaching showed no significant differences.
