In the modern era, TAIYENCompany completely setaside all saltfeilds becauseof the global trade and the cost considerations. Several years later, it reconstructed the present-day Jou-nan Saltfield in LongjiangVillage,Budai Township through various efforts of local cultural groups. It retained the original landform of saltfields and committed to the preservation of traditional salt culture.In the promotion, environmental education and specialty salt products became the core of sustainable management. It also accomplished the trend of preservation, activation and reuse of industrial cultural assets. Based on this research background and after establishing the motivation for the study, the research objectives are as follows: (a) to discuss the development history and the current production situation of Jou-nan Saltfield. (b) to analyze the current promotion of Jou-nan Saltfield. (c) to provide the suggestions on promotion methods and promotion methods of Jou-nan Saltfield.In addition, qualitative interviews and literature analysis methods were used as research methods to collate and compare the data obtained through the interviews and the collected literature. And then, the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and threats of the promotion of Jou-nan Saltfield were analyzed by SWOT.Thus we can get the research results of the development history and current promotion of Jou-nan Saltfield. The conclusion of the study is that the environmental education, in-depth tourism, and the promotion of specialty salt products are the core of sustainable development in Jou-nan Saltfiel.And they are committed to the preservation and development of cultural assets in the salt industry.Finally, the opinions of respondents and researchers are comprehensively proposed.
