碩士 === 南華大學 === 民族音樂學系 === 106 === 　　The propose of this research is to discuss the interpretation and performance of the works played in the concert《Suite for Solo Cello No.3 BWV1009》by J.S. Bach, and 《Cello Sonata Op.119》by S. Prokofiev. This research is emphasized on two parts：first, elaborating the history of string making which influences the performance skills; second, analyzing the composers’ life, historical background of composition, composing techniques used in the works. In conclusion, this is the share of my experience when during research and analyzing which helped me to perform with proper musical style, articulation and techniques.
