Therefore, this research is aimed to realize the relationship between English learning interests and English learning performance on second graders by applying the table game in English Teaching. The quasi-experimental method is applied in this research, which involved 26 students from The Happiness After-School. We divided the students into two group, the experimental group, 14 kids, and the control group, 12 kids. The researcher used the self-made adapted English board games as the teaching material for the experimental group, and the normal teaching method for the control group. The experiment has taken 6 times, each time 30 minutes , total 180 minutes. The researcher used the self-made English Learning Interests Assessment and self-made English Performance Assessments- Listening part, Speaking part, Reading part and writing part as the research tools to understand the difference between before and after on English learning interests and English learning performance. There are three findings: 1.Applying the table game in English teaching can effectively enhance second graders’ learning interests. 2.Applying the table game in English teaching can effectively enhance second graders’ learning performance. 3.It appeared positively correlated between English learning interests and English learning performance by applying the table game in English teaching.
