| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 民族事務與發展學系 === 106 === This thesis aims to explore the experiences and voices of the physically disabled people with living independently in Hualien. The study adopts in-depth interview and field notes and there are six disabled people were interviewed. Research data were analyzed thematically.
The findings confirm that the people with physical disabilities can have a stable and independent life because they have strong mind, religion, social support and they take some actions. According to these, this study provides some suggestions for those who are physically disabled people and their family, communities, non-profit organizations and government agencies. Other relevant issues also have been discussed in this study.
