Along with this, the molecular electrical research and its application arose with the development of nanotechnology and surface analysis technology in the 90 's.
This experimental study of molecular-gold nanoparticle film was irradiated by laser light, changes in the conductance (voltage, current) generated by different environments, electrode materials, and laser irradiation at different locations, it is investigated whether the photoconductive reaction generated by the molecular-gold nanoparticle film is irradiated by laser light is caused by thermoelectric characteristics.
It is found from the experimental results that when the laser light irradiation power is 5 mW, the voltage measured in vacuum of nano-gold particle films with platinum as electrodes is about 7.92×〖10〗^(-3) mV, the voltage variation measured in gold as an electrode is about 6.75×〖10〗^(-4) mV . In addition, the experimental measurement of the voltage change time is about 10 seconds. It is inferred that the light conductivity generated by the laser irradiation of the molecule-gold nanoparticle film is produced by the thermoelectric property.
