Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 諮商與臨床心理學系 === 106 === Sleep affects numerous areas of performance in every conceivable context and that includes working memory. While sleep is implicated in the function of WM, it is unclear whether subjective sleep perception or objective sleep measure is responsible for WM function. The study aims to examine whether subjective sleep perception was a mediator between the correlation of objective sleep measures and working memory performance in college student. Methods: 36 participants were recruited from National Dong Hwa University Campus. All participants were measured the emotional status by use of CBAI and CBDI-II. And participants needed to wear actigraphy for a week, as concurrently recording the sleep information by use of sleep logs at home. Participants then finished CPSQI to assess their self-sleep measures and evaluate their performance of WM by use of 2-back task after a week. Analysis: examining the effect of subjective sleep measures on the objective sleep measures and WM performance via the process. No significant was found the correlation of all variables, except TST and TIB. Conclusion: The finding of the study indicated that subjective sleep perception was not a mediator between objective sleep measures and WM performance in the present study.
