Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this thesis was to actually activate the Philosophy for Children Hawaii and community of inquiry in an action research. The action research was arranged into a series of sixteen-week courses that were run every Tuesday morning. The researcher aimed at four targets in this action research: 1. To track the procedure of running the P4C Hawaii in a junior high school class; 2. To comprehend the discussions among the case class while running the P4C Hawaii; 3. To seek possible obstacles and solutions while running the P4C Hawaii, and 4. To understand how the P4C Hawaii changed students’ learning process in the case class especially on the cognitive domain and affective domain. The researcher arrived at these four conclusons: 1.Students enjoy thinking while holding their own learning dominance. 2.The Philosophy For Children Hawaii actually helped cultivate studnets’ abilities of showing respect, listening, speaking and questioning. 3.The Philosophy For Children Hawaii improved the emotional communication among all the participants in the case class including teachers and students. 4.The most valuable element of having good communication is to possess group safety. 5.Junior high school students have the ability to give feedback and provide good ways to enhance the curriculum they are learning.
