For this study, a survey research method was adopted, using questionnaires for data collection, there were 446 valid samples from public elementary school teachers in Chiayi County. A wide range of statistical methods were applied in this research, including descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The job involvement of teachers in elementary schools is in the medium degree. 2. The emotional intelligence of teachers in elementary schools is in the medium degree. 3. The job satisfaction of teachers in elementary schools is in the medium degree. 4. The significant differences in the aspect of emotional intelligence for elementary school teachers are in different genders. The significant differences in the job involvement and job satisfaction for elementary school teachers are those with different position. 5. There was no significant differences in the aspect of job involvement and job satisfaction for elementary school teachers with different gender. There was no significant differences in the emotional intelligence for elementary school teachers with different position. 6. The job involvement and job satisfaction for elementary school teachers are positively correlated in the medium degree. 7. The emotional intelligence and job satisfaction for elementary school teachers are positively correlated in the medium degree. 8. Both the job involvement and emotional intelligence for elementary school teachers will have effect on job satisfaction.
