Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 106 === The theme of this study draws a description about how work performance and career satisfaction of high-tech industry engineers are influenced by their job characteristics and internal control of locus, while flow is seen as a mediation variable. Researcher conducted a questionnaire survey of 305 engineers and the statistic results show: 1. Comparing the background variable difference between flow, work performance, and career satisfaction, finding that it partly supports for marriage status, fixed salary per month and per year, but no significant difference on the sex. 2. The Internal-control characteristics could positively explain flow, work performance, and career satisfaction. 3. In addition to task significance, the work characteristics to autonomy, skill variety, task identity and feedback, all are able to positively and significantly explain the flow. 4. In addition to feedback, the work characteristics to skill veriety, task identity, task significance, and autonomy all enable to positively explain work performance. 5. Only autonomy and feedback show positive significance. The variable about work characteristics on skill variety, task identity, and skill significance, however, not satisfy statistical significance. 6. There is mediating effect of flow about the link between "work characteristics and internal-control locus" and "work performance and career satisfaction." According to the above finding results in research, the future studies and practical suggestions are provided.
