Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 特殊教育學系研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this study is to understand the operational performance of cerebral palsy(CP) students in three alternative computer pointing devices and to compare with general students. In order to explore the accuracy and operational time of different subjects (cerebral palsy, general), alternative computer pointing devices (Camera mouse, Tobii PCEye mini, Glass Ouse) and target sizes (136px, 68px), in addition, to know subjective feelings of the subjects after operating these pointing devices. This study included 17 students with cerebral palsy from the southern region of Taiwan who were between the ages from 6 to 18, and 17 general students in the same age. The total number is 34. Use the mixed-design 3-way ANOVA, and if significantly we have to implement simple interaction effect and simple simple effect test. Overall, CP have a large difference in operational performance in different devices. The performance on accuracy: Glass Ouse > Tobii PCEye mini > Camera mouse; performance on operation time: Camera mouse and Tobii PCEye mini are quite the same, Glass Ouse is much poor, but the training effect is significantly different. In terms of accuracy, it is mainly attributed to the ability of the subjects themselves, and the type of alternative computer pointing device and the size of the target have not been significantly affected. In terms of operation time, it is mainly attributed to the ability of subjects themselves and target size, and the type of alternative computer pointing device have not been significantly affected.
