Instead of deriving items from existing literatures and theories, this scale items were from elementary school teachers and it can reflect their motivation for work.. 220 reasons for work from 22 elementary school teachers were summarized into 62 working reasons. 95 elementary school teachers rated how relevant the 62 working reasons reflecting their motivation for work on a 7-point scale. This data was analyzed by cluster analysis and factor analysis to development a model of elementary school teacher's working motivation factor. Another 541 teachers responded to the survey of the 62 working reasons to examine the reliability and validity. 114 of the 541 teachers retook the survey, two weeks after their first time taking the survey, to provide the test-retest reliability. The autonomous motivation and controlled motivation from the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation scale were used for the concurrent criterion validity. Cronbach α, Pearson correlations and confirmatory factor analysis were employed on the research data. The research results include: 1. A three-level elementary school teacher's work motivation factor structure of 62 work reasons,11 clusters and 3 factors was established. 2. A elementary school teacher’s working motivation factor scale of 11 subscales and 3 dimension scores was developed. 3. The autonomous factor of the three motivation factors has the highest score Of the 11 motivation clusters, the three highest scores belong to the clusters of “helping students”, “interaction with students” and “instruction fun”. And, gender and seninority differences were found. The results suggestions were made accordingly. 鄧志平 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 58 zh-TW |
