A total of 212 researchers were recruited from the social and behavioral sciences field in Taiwan. The REDMS included two subscales: The internal component and the external component, each subscale contained 6 items. Data were analyzed the mean score of the perspectives on research ethics in the different background by t-test, ANOVA, and descriptive statistics. The results of this study were as following: 1. The score of the researchers in the social and behavioral sciences in external component was higher than internal component. 2. The gender had a significant difference in the partial research ethics perspectives. The females had significantly higher mean score of the internal component than that of males. 3. The researchers strongly agreed with the research ethics review. The consensus of the strongly agree reached 70 percent. 4. The participants who were doing studies on human subjects strongly agreed with the perspectives on research ethics review and more valued the welfare of the participants. 5. The researchers who had the experience of participating in REC had the significantly different perspectives on research ethics review. The researchers who had the experience of being as a review expert in REC more strongly agreed than who had no experience. Suggestions for application and future research were proposed accordingly.
